Common Name: Ruby Ribbons Switch Grass
Description: This Panicum came from the University of Connecticut's plant breeding program. This deer resistant hybrid is a cross between Panicum 'Heavy Metal' x Panicum 'Hans Herme' producing a four foot specimen emerging with blue-gray foliage that turns burgundy-red by mid-summer. The foliage gets darker as the season progresses. Flower spikes appear in late summer and persist into winter; great in arrangements. Propagation Prohibited.
